Law school has been one of the most intellectually stimulating and challenging experiences of my life and I don’t think I could have chosen a better place to earn my degree than USC Gould. I feel proud to be part of an institution that values the educational and personal benefits of learning alongside such a highly diverse student body and faculty.

The most rewarding aspect of law school so far has been my work in the Post-Conviction Justice Project representing women convicted of serious crimes. Many are victims of unimaginable domestic abuse. My involvement in student organizations has also enriched my law school experience. My role as Street Law’s vice president allows me to help USC Gould connect with high school students in the surrounding community. My role as vice president of the Black Law Students Association helps me connect with other African-American and bi-racial students, faculty and members of the legal field. Not only have I received a top-notch education, I am part of an inviting and tight-knit community here.
